"It’s A Good, Good Feeling: The Latin Soul of Fania Records (The Singles) takes listeners through Fania’s Latin soul and Latin boogaloo history via a musical chronology of 89 singles released between 1967 – 1975. The compilation not only uncovers rare nuggets by artists like 125th Street Candy Store, The Latinaires, The Harvey Averne Band and Ali Baba, but it features gems by Latin soul and boogaloo legends like Ray Barretto, Joe Bataan, Bobby Valentín, Ralfi Pagan and Larry Harlow. The box set includes a 7” vinyl single + 4CDs in a deluxe folio-style hardcover book with 60-pages featuring new extensive liner notes by legendary producer and DJ Dean Rudland, plus numerous photos and ephemera from the Fania archives. The 7” single celebrates legendary disc jockey Symphony Sid, an early champion of Latin music on radio, with audio from his radio shows. The 2-LP format features 28 tracks in a gatefold jacket with an 8-page LP sized booklet with the liner notes, photos and ephemera found in the deluxe box set.
