Moloko
Things To Make And Do
"Things To Make And Do" is the third album by electronic dance duo Moloko, originally released in 2000. It represented a change in sound for Moloko, with tracks based less on electronics and more on live musicians. In addition to the change in musical style, the album also brought a new vocal technique from lead singer Róisín Murphy.
After the release of Things To Make And Do, Murphy received offers to be a guest vocalist on other records, most notably with The Psychedelic Waltons, Boris D. and Handsome Boy Modelling School. The album held the record as Echo's fastest-selling British platinum record until it was surpassed six years later by Feeder's The Singles compilation. It features fan favorites "The Time Is Now," "Pure Pleasure Seeker" and "Sing It Back (Boris Musical Mix)." The track "Indigo" was featured on the Mystery Men soundtrack.
