Saxophonist, composer, producer and 22a label boss Tenderlonious is breaking new ground with "You Know I Care". After several solo projects, numerous collaborations and a series of LPs, EPs and singles with his band Ruby Rushton, which focused on original compositions, he wanted to take some time out to focus his energy on exploring the classic jazz material that has inspired him over the years. Players such as Jackie McLean, Duke Pearson, Clifford Jordan and Wayne Shorter have all played an important part in "Tenderlonious" life and are a constant source of inspiration for his development as a musician and composer.
