Probably the best-known comic group in the music business is back with a new album in 2017: "Humanz" is the name of the band's fourth studio long player, for which Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett collaborated as usual with a whole host of top-class colleagues.

The guest list of "Humanz" includes Grace Jones, Danny Brown, Benjamin Clementine, Pusha T, Vince Staples, Peven Everett, Mavis Staples, Jehnny Beth (Savages), and also De La Soul are once again part of the party. But the biggest sensation is probably the collaboration of Oasis frontman and long-term rival Noel Gallagher.

The new album was recorded in London, New York, Chicago, Paris and Jamaica. The Twilite Tone of D/\P and Remi Kabaka took care of the production.

The result is a 19-song epic that is really worth listening to. How much, the Gorillaz revealed in advance with four song releases: "We've Got The Power", "Andromeda", "Ascension" and the single "Saturnz Barz", to which there is also a special 3-D animation video.
