Fans of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have no reason to complain: "Gumboot Soup" is already the 13th studio album by the Australian psychedelic rock band. It was originally released on December 31, 2017 and is now finally available on CD and vinyl.

The album is the last of no less than five albums that the band released in 2017, the successor to "Polygondwanaland".

The seven-piece band has released a total of four singles from "Gumboot Soup": "Beginner's Luck", "All Is Known", "The Last Oasis" and "Greenhouse Heat Death".
