The film soundtrack to Marcel Camus' film "Black Orpheus" was written by Antonio Carlos Jobim, Luiz Bonfa, Vinicius de Moraes and Antonio Maria. Other musicians featured on the album include Luiz Bonfá and Roberto Menescal on guitar, as well as the vocals of Elizeth Cardoso and Agostinho dos Santos. The album contains the classic songs "Manhã de Carnaval" and "Samba de Orpheus". Three songs from the movie recorded shortly afterwards by the great Joâo Gilberto were added as a bonus.
