One year after their debut album "In The Flat Field" was released on 4AD, Bauhaus changed labels and released their second album on Beggar's Banquet in 1981. On "Mask", the band led by Peter Murphy discovered new musical terrain, with keyboards and acoustic guitars being heard for the first time.

The album contains the singles "The Passion Of Lovers" and "Kick In The Eye", both of which entered the British singles charts. The vinyl edition comes with a CD.
