The Helsinki-based Bowman Trio returns with their second LP on We Jazz Records. "Persistence" is a strong effort that shows the talent of the young trio to create dynamic, sparse and memorable music that well carries the term "loft jazz" that is occasionally associated with it. Drummer Sami Nummela, trumpeter Tomi Nikku and bassist Joonas Tuuri present 9 strong originals, 8 of which were written by Nummela and one by Nikku.
