Estrellas de Buena Vista was founded to continue the tradition of the Buena Vista Social Club. The band consists of 16 musicians, including 8 original members of the Buena Vista Social Club. The singers Carlos Calunga and Lazaro Villa belong to the new generation and give the Cuban evergreens a fresh energy.

The repertoire will be reminiscent of the golden age of Cuban music, blending traditional rhythms and songs with contemporary influences. When the group performs in Cuba, the theaters are full of loving, enthusiastic audiences, as can be heard on this live recording. And it was precisely to convey this authentic Cuban feeling that the band decided to record one of their shows last year.

For this album, the band invited special guests, singers Alain Perez and Mayito Rivera.
