Where I'm Meant To Be
Following 2019's debut album "You Can't Steal My Joy," "Where I'm Meant To Be" features contributions from Sampa The Great, Kojey Radical, Emile Sande and Nao
The album announcement comes with a brand new song "Life Goes On" featuring Sampa The Great as well as a nod to the 1972 Fela Kuti record "Shakara Oloje," and the accompanying music video was directed by Nathan Miller and shot in both London and Lusaka
"London meets Lusaka. Moments of joy, moments of struggle, but united in the spirit that we must go on. Life must go on," the band describes their inspiration for the new track. "We write our music with a constant will to push the boundaries of what we can mix with jazz. This includes the energies of South African vibes mixed with our own style of London jazz. And no one could express this beauty better than the Queen, Sampa the Great."
