n 1967, Peter Green, Mick Fleetwood and John Mcvie played in the legendary band JOHN MAYALL & THE BLUES BRAKERS and recorded five songs in the studio during their time off Songs. The rest is history. "Fleetwood Mac", the self-titled debut album, was released in 1968 and was a highlight of the late British Blues movement, peaking at #4 on the UK album charts, without a single being produced and stayed there for a full 37 weeks. It was a traditional Blues album, but one that showcased Peter Green's burgeoning songwriting and vocal skills showcased. "I Love a Woman" paved the way for "Black Magic Woman," while "Looking For Somebody" shows a mix of humor and vulnerability. Now the album is reappearing by high demand back on vinyl after about 35 years
