Guns N’ Roses
Use Your Illusion I
Arguably the most significant albums of their career, Guns N' Roses released their third and fourth studio albums "Use Your Illusion I & II" in 1991 - both on the same day, September 17. Both albums, which set sales records in the U.S. with 685 thousand and 770 thousand albums in their first week of sales, and naturally ranked #1 and #2 on the Billboard charts, dropped legendary hits such as "November Rain," "Don't Cry," "Knocking On Heaven's Door," "You Could Be Mine," and "Civil War."
For the first time, all tracks have now been given a musical treatment and come in contemporary sound quality. In addition to all the well-known album tracks, the deluxe versions feature recordings of two live concerts in audio and Blu-ray quality, as well as a new version of "November Rain" with a 50-piece orchestra
The largest deluxe version of the new editions brings it to 97 tracks - 63 of them previously unreleased audio and video tracks - as well as a 100-page hardcover book, backstage passes and much more.
Use Your Illusion I remastered for the first time from high-resolution 96kHz 24-bit transfers from the original analog 1/2-inch stereo master tapes. Includes "November Rain" for the first time with a real 50-piece orchestra - Re-recorded, conducted and arranged by Grammy® Award-winning and Emmy Award-nominated composer Christopher Lennertz, 2x 180-gram audiophile black vinyl in gatefold jacket with 12 "x12" insert.
