The animated film is based on the manga comic of the same name and tells the captivating story of a young Japanese saxophonist and his path into the international jazz scene. The comic has sold over 11 million copies, the film was a box office hit in Asia and will also be shown on screens and in home cinemas in Europe for the first time this year. The music for "Blue Giant" was composed by the Grammy award-winning Japanese pianist and composer Hiromi and is an integral part of the "Blue Giant" success with its versatile jazz and funk sounds.
