Workin' with the Miles Davis Quintet comes from the legendary 1956 marathon sessions that also produced Cookin', Relaxin' and Steamin'. Featuring John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers and Philly Joe Jones, the first great Miles quintet plays with remarkable chemistry and ease. Highlights include a haunting 'It Never Entered My Mind' and 'Four'. One of the finest records of the hard bop era and an essential part of any jazz collection.
