The highlight of the Monster Movies and thus also of the phase with the first singer Malcolm Mooney is certainly the side-filling 'You Doo Right'. The long track is the condensate of a twelve-hour improvisation session. On record, it becomes a psychedelic trip, driven by Jaki Liebezeit's stoic, precise drumming, underpinned by Holger Czukay's powerful, dynamic bass, lifted by Michael Karoli's sometimes spherically distorted, sometimes crisp, straight guitar, accompanied by Irmin Schmidt's flat keyboards and garnished by Mooney's mantra-like verse lines."
