Nina Simone at Carnegie Hall captures the singer and pianist in one of the world's most prestigious concert venues, released by Colpix in 1963. Moving between jazz standards, folk songs and classical-influenced piano passages, she commands the stage with breathtaking intensity and control. The live setting highlights her unique ability to hold an audience in absolute silence. A superb concert document and a treasured part of her early-1960s catalogue.
