Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea, released in 2000, is PJ Harvey's most accessible and romantic album, inspired by time spent in New York. Bursting with raw guitars and passionate vocals, it features 'Good Fortune', 'This Is Love' and 'This Mess We're In', a duet with Radiohead's Thom Yorke. The album won the Mercury Prize in 2001. A brilliant, electrifying rock record and essential listening from one of Britain's greatest artists.
