Prince was renowned for his innovative approach to releasing music. He introduced his sound through platforms like the NPG Music Club online, and in 2004, he gifted concert ticket holders for the Musicology tour with a complimentary album. In a groundbreaking move in 2007, he distributed his new LP, "Planet Earth," for free via the UK's Mail on Sunday newspaper. On July 15, 2007, readers received a copy of "Planet Earth" as an insert. Additionally, Prince orchestrated a 21-show concert series at London's O2 Arena, where attendees were also gifted copies of the album. The immense excitement surrounding Prince's new work led to sold-out shows in the 20,000-seat arena, a record that remains unbroken to this day. Only Michael Jackson had contemplated surpassing this feat before his untimely demise, although he never got the chance to attempt it.
