Taylor Swift's 12th studio album "The Life of a Showgirl" will be released worldwide on October 3, 2025.

Taylor Swift returns with her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, a vibrant collection that captures the frenzy and creative pulse of her life on stage. The album was created together with producers Max Martin and Shellback in 2024 during the Eras tour in Europe. The theme of the album is the singer's life as an entertainer. It contains 12 songs, the title track also features Sabrina Carpenter.

While "The Tortured Poets Department" explored more introspective terrain, "The Life of a Showgirl" leans towards upbeat, dramatic and larger-than-life moments.

Visually, "The Life of a Showgirl" presents perhaps the boldest imagery of Swift's career. The album cover - photographed by Mert and Marcus - features a showgirl-inspired aesthetic that combines glamor, performance and spectacle. The cover shows Swift underwater in a bodysuit reminiscent of classic showgirl silhouettes, while the color palette uses bold shades of orange and mint green.

The LP features 12 songs, Portofino Orange Glitter vinyl, a double gatefold sleeve, unique front and back covers, and previously unreleased photos and album lyrics.
