On his 56th birthday on January 13, 2017, The Flaming Lips singer Wayne Coyne will not only please himself, but above all the fans of the alternative rockers. That's when the band releases its new album "Oczy Mlody".
The first two singles "The Castle" and "How??" have already shown: The Flaming Lips are also on their 18th studio album usual experimental. In doing so, they have hit upon some great melodies.
The Flaming Lips produced "Oczy Mlody" together with their longtime companion Dave Fridmann. But there is also a surprise guest on the new album: none other than pop starlet Miley Cyrus is part of the party in the song "We a Famly".
Coyne and Co. had already supported the singer in songwriting on her last album "Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz".
In addition to the standard CD and an LP version, "Oczy Mlody" is also available as a limited edition. This includes the album as a colored double LP (1 x purple, 1 x orange) and a bonus 7" single on red vinyl. The 7" contains a cover version of the David Bowie classic "Space Oddity" and the song "Jest (There Is)".
