When legendary Journey singer, songwriter and frontman Steve Perry first heard the remix of his band's 1983 hit "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)", "I was amazed at how cool it was. I found out that Bryce Miller and Troy MacCubbin had done the remix and told them how much I loved it. A week later I had an idea for an extended version, so I called Bryce and we put together our extended remix. Being a huge fan of the show, I was delighted to have my music featured on the soundtrack! I love these two remix versions just as much as the original Journey Frontiers recording. The new Steve Perry & Bryce Miller Extended Remix of "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" provides an epic conclusion to the album.
In between the "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" remixes, Stranger Things: Soundtrack from the Netflix Series, Season 4 will continue the action-packed, supernatural world of the series through carefully selected, well-placed music tracks that emphasize the emotional journey of the characters and their storylines. From the sound of KISS belting out "Detroit Rock City" during a pivotal Dungeons & Dragons game, to the catharsis and psychic release of Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)", music plays an integral role in the narrative of Stranger Things.
Stranger Things: Soundtrack from the Netflix Series, Season 4 presents music tracks reminiscent of various classic eras and styles featured in "Stranger Things 4". The soundtrack album was conceived and produced by the Duffer Brothers and Nora Felder (Grammy- and Emmy-nominated Nora Felder has served as music supervisor for "Stranger Things" since the series' inception and was nominated for a Music Supervision Grammy in the first year the category was recognized by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences). The compilation album was produced by the Duffer Brothers and two-time Grammy nominee Timothy J. Smith.
